FAQ

With our dedication to traditional natural growing techniques, we prioritize soil health and introduce balance to the delicate biology of the land. This creates super soil which in turn grows super plants! No synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or fertilizers. Only highly charged compost, botanical plant nutrients, and biochar made on our farm.

We decided to grow Luffa aegyptiaca (Egyptian Loofah) rather than the more common Asian types due to its superiority. Although the harvest yield is less, the quality is evident. Its dense fiber matrix creates a fluffy sponge that holds up to many washes. The sponge becomes soft and great for many skin types when it becomes wet. With our unique growing methods, we are able to cultivate the largest and most beautiful loofahs ever, delivering a luxurious addition to your bath ritual.

Ditch your synthetic sponges and go natural! Cleansing your skin with natural loofah fibers doesn't impart micro-plastics onto you or down the drain. The soft yet effective fibers do not exude toxic chemicals, dyes, or harbor dangerous bacteria as synthetic sponges tend to do. Our loofah sponges can last up to 6 months or longer depending on use!

Real loofah sponges are actually grown from a plant! Our premium Egyptian loofah sponges are 100% biodegradable! Once you've enjoyed all the many exfoliating washes and you're ready to dispose of your sponge, just throw it into your compost bin. The fibers will break down in a few months' time, turning into rich compost which will feed your plants. No micro-plastics, no chemicals, no dirty washcloths, and no extra money spent resupplying synthetic sponges that break down too fast.
