Gritless skin exfoliator and lymphatic scrub



Once or twice a week apply a dime sized amount onto wet hands and rub together. Then apply to wet skin starting from one body part at a time and applying more soap as needed. Rub onto skin until a coffee colored lather begins to form. Leave on skin for 5-10 min then vigorously scrub with our premium loofah sponge. Then rinse well with water. Alternatively, Savon Noir may also be used daily as a soap cleanser if not leaving product on skin.

Q: How much Savon Noir should I apply?

A: A little goes a long way! A dime sized amount should work for both arms and another dime sized amount should cover the legs.

Q: Can I use Savon Noir without the loofah?

A: Traditionally, Moroccan Black Soap is used with a scrubber as it helps dislodge and remove what the soap has dissolved. For the best exfoliating results we HIGHLY recommend using our premium Egyptian loofah sponge as it’s been specifically grown for optimized exfoliation effects.

Q: How often should I use Savon Noir?

A: If leaving the product on the skin for 5-10 min in the shower then 1-2x’s a week is perfect as this allows ample time for the skin to catch up to the exfoliating properties. However, for those who wish to use Savon noir as a daily soap cleanser without leave on time, then daily use is fine.

Q: How much time do I leave Savon Noir on the Skin for?

A: In a traditional Moroccan Hammam, Moroccan Black Soap is applied in steam rooms and left on for approx 15min. The heat from the steam works to open the pores and allows for the soap to penetrate deep. We find that anywhere between 5-10min leave on time in a hot shower works well.
